Just had to walk inside the room, peek outside and there they were through a porthole, waiting for the conference in huge number. (Always try to get an accreditation, it’s much easier to get shots with it)

Another cutting demonstration photograph.

Hopefully the side of the set wasn’t lit, which allowed me to take this shot against a black background. It was made using the pre-focusing technique on the target.

For this shot, I used a single hotshoe flash through a translucent umbrella.

Because of the wind, some weight had to be applied on the bottom of the tripod. Nonetheless it allowed me to work fast without the model freezing.

Instead of using the flash head in a conventional way, I used it with only the lamp on without triggering the flash. The background is naturally lit.

Sometime you curse AF assist light (From others, as I don’t ever use this feature). And sometime it can give you nice results like this one.

A photo of Punish Yourself performing like crazy. There was no pit in front of the stage and the public moved a lot. To make photos in these conditions is always some sort of personal achievement. (And you have to deliver good pics no matter what)

One style I really like. Shot at f/16 to test the 85mm/1.4 at this aperture. I was quite impressed by the level of details retained. The bluish cast is different from my naturally warm approach, but it has its meaning.

Simple shot inside a building. Using the 70-200 at 2.8 to throw the whole background out of focus. (The background was quite busy as it was inside a train station.)

Shot for Green Moves during a sunny afternoon. Using only a Sunbounce reflector as a main light and the sun as an accent.

A portrait with a single light. I really like black background with a small amount of light on them.

Test du 85mm f/1.4 G de Nikon

J’ai réalisé un test en condition réelle du 85mm f/1.4 G de Nikon . (If there is enough people interested in having this test translated to english, I might consider doing so)

New modification

For some time I’ve been posting content from other people on my tumblr. I’ve enjoyed it quite a lot, but as someone told me the difference between my work and others work was not clear enough. So, for the time being I’ll post only work I do (As I did before in fact), maybe less often than one every day.

I love doing tight portrait shots whenever possible, especially with a 85mm.
